Washington University Pain Center provides a comprehensive clinical educational program including but not limited to interventional, cognitive behavioral, pharmacological management, and research opportunities.

The major goals of our training program are:

  • To foster and develop knowledge in intra-disciplinary pain medicine through a broad curriculum of didactic seminars, case-based learning, and combined research-clinical journal clubs.
  • Supervised and appropriate clinical practice opportunities in acute and chronic settings.
  • Training is carried out in an atmosphere of scholarship, stressing the importance of continuing education and research.
