Fellowship Application Information

Thank you for your interest in fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the Washington University Pain Center, in St. Louis. Our program is open to physicians that have completed a residency program in Anesthesiology, PM&R or Psychiatry.

We participate in the NRMP Match and accept fellowship applications through the ERAS website.

For you to apply for a fellowship position in Pain Medicine, we request that you use the following link to submit your application as well as your supporting documents here.

Fellow applicants for this dynamic, multi-faceted, multidisciplinary pain fellowship program must provide:

  • a copy of a current CV
  • a formal personal statement letter describing your experience, interest and career goals in pain management
  • three letters of recommendation, one of which should be from the applicant’s department chairman

All graduate medical education training at the Washington University Medical Center, including the Anesthesiology Pain Management fellowship is sponsored by “The Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital/St. Louis Children’s Hospital Graduate Medical Education Consortium”. The GME Consortium serves to coordinate GME activities at the WashU Medical Center.
